It’s a popular misconception that rabbits don’t need as much love and attention as cats and dogs. At Hôpital vétérinaire des Trois-Lacs, our team is here to help you take good care of them and understand their different needs.
Do I need to have my rabbit vaccinated?
No; there are no vaccines for pet rabbits.
Do I have to get my rabbit spayed or neutered?
Sterilization isn’t required, but we do recommend it. We’re sure you’ve heard how quickly rabbits can multiply. For that reason and to protect their reproductive system from possible disease, we strongly recommend that you have your rabbit spayed or neutered.
Does my rabbit need dental care?
Yes. If your rabbit has a balanced diet that gives them everything they need, their teeth should be in good condition. That doesn’t mean they’re immune from problems, and we can help you take good care of their teeth.
